The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has
released a recruitment notice for Head Constable (Education & Stress
Counsellor) – 2026. The recruitment is for 16 vacancies in General
Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) category on a
temporary basis, likely to become permanent.
Eligible male and female Indian citizens, including
subjects of Nepal or Bhutan as specified in the notice, can apply online. The
selected candidates will receive Pay Level-4, Rs. 25,500–81,100/- as per
the 7th CPC. The online application window will open from 28 September 2026
and close on 27 October 2026.

The notice states that the vacancies are tentative
and may increase or decrease without prior notice. 10% of vacancies are
reserved for Ex-Servicemen in the respective category.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess either:

Limit
The candidate’s age should be between 20 and 25 years
as on the closing date of online applications, i.e. 27 October 2026.
Upper-age relaxation for ST, OBC and Ex-Servicemen
categories will be applicable as per Government rules mentioned in the
recruitment notice.
